Last night I tried to dye my hair black with henna and ended up with seaweed colored brown hair with blondish highlights. I sat for an hour and a half watching better off dead with Lauren and Jonny with a plastic bag over my head smelling like wet straw and those were the results. So today it's bring on the chemicals (desspite the directions that say do not use over henna) in hopes of that glamourous winter look.
My heart has been flutterey lately, as if a sparrow like ones everyone is getting tatooed on themselves lately is beating its wings against my chest. I know the fluttery-ness is caused by all good things and many questions, so I am trying to sit with it for now. I am flying out tonight, bound for Europe to visit friends and my sister, to meet penpals, do some research and explore. I will be back on January 21st with stories to tell. Maybe there will be updates while I am gone? Maybe not?
